Working within systems theory, the individual is seen through his/her wider connections, such as the family and society. Importance is given to the strengths, resources, and resilience of the individual and couple or family system.

Her approach to therapy is to ensure that clients are comfortable, appreciated, and motivated to believe in their ability to transform their situations. She works with clients to help them grow in self-esteem and inner strength. Sessions are completely confidential and professional. The client’s cultural, familial, and religious beliefs are held in high esteem and are incorporated in helping him/her work on the issues at hand. An encouraging, non-judgmental approach to therapy enables clients to believe that positive change is possible.
